The pop star met up with celebrity hairstylist Tracey Cunningham at his Hollywood Hills studio to discuss this latest change in look and how it came about:

In addition to wearing wigs on stage and in interviews, she also sports a number of different hairstyles that show off the versatility of her look.

She once had a gorgeous bubblegum pink bob for a bit.

This is a great example of the power of hair color. The bubblegum pink bob was originally worn by R&B star Beyoncé in 2015, and later by Rihanna and SZA. It’s a bit more subtle than those other shades—and a lot less obvious than Rihanna’s bright red tresses at this year's Met Gala, which were also inspired by “Rude Boy,” one of her most iconic songs from last year's ANTI album (her first since 2016).

"It's a very sexy and on trend shade of rose gold," she told us. "You can wear it all year round but it looks especially great in summer."

Cunningham has worked with many celebrities before—including Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian—but she says that working with Lipa was one of her favourite experiences to date.
